System 10 wiring harness adapter allows you to swap out the head unit for an aftermarket unit whilst retaining the power Amp and speakers., no chopping of harness required.
Commonly used on earlier ST185- 1990-1991.
NOTE- If your head unit uses the iso-8 black connector it's all plug and play, otherwise you cut it off and splice the 5 wires (power, ground, ignition etc) to the connector that comes with the head unit like any other adapter and it's done. Your new head unit needs to support line level (RCA) front and rear output - so the system 10 amp handles the power, but that's not uncommon nowadays.
